Product for the treatment of rust and for the protection of all ferrous surfaces: rusted, new, painted and unpainted.
Practical measuring spout. Ready to use, easy and quick to use, high yield.
Very low toxicity — Ferox is based on synthetic resins dispersed in water and does not contain solvents.
It can also be applied in closed or poorly ventilated environments.
It reacts chemically with rust, transforming it into a stable, black complex which, once overpainted, is resistant to atmospheric agents and is impermeable to humidity.
Also effective on painted areas or on non-rusted artefacts, where it forms a transparent layer.
Can be overpainted with any type of paint, water-based or solvent-based.
Surface preparation:
Unpainted surfaces: Brush off loose or poorly anchored rust and remove dust with a water-dampened cloth.
Painted surfaces: Brush off flaking paint and loose rust, then wipe away dust with a damp cloth.
Application:
Product is ready to use.
If applied with a spray gun, dilute with water (max 15–18%).
Shake the product well before use.
Pour only the required amount into a plastic container — do not return leftover product to the original container.
Overpaintable after 12 hours.
At temperatures of at least 20°C and humidity below 60%, it can be overpainted after only 15 minutes.
Wash tools with water after use.
Treated surfaces must be painted with a quality topcoat within 24–36 hours. If stored indoors, this can be extended to 2–3 weeks.
