Kit specifically designed for then polycarbonate headlights restore from moderately to highly opaque.
THUNDER POLISHING: nanoceramic polish to restore moderately to deeply dulled headlights;
THUNDER LUBE: special liquid lubricant for safe working conditions.
THUNDER GLOSS: finishing treatment for shining renewed headlights.
Abrasive papers, of various grits, with ceramic technology;
Rubber support to work safely;
Wool pad for professional polishing.
a) Wash the headlight carefully. Use adhesive tape to cover the car body/plastic around the headlight to protect surfaces from treatment.
b) Start treatment by applying abrasive paper with appropriate grit on the rubber support (velcro side). Lubricate the abrasive paper with a few drops of Thunder Lube.
c) Sand with horizontal and vertical movements; NEVER IN CIRCULAR MOTIONS. Remove abrasive paper residues with a damp cloth.
d) Repeat with higher grit abrasive paper (see "Level of opacification" chart). After this first treatment, the headlight should be smooth and slightly opaque to the touch.
e) Apply a moderate amount of Thunder Polishing on the supplied wool pad. Using a drill/polisher, polish the headlight working in small sections. Avoid staying too long in one spot to prevent plastic overheating. Repeat if necessary. The more precise this phase, the better the renewal.
f) Remove residues with a damp cloth. Finish manually with a cotton pad applying Thunder Gloss with circular motions evenly. Let dry.
